    Mr. Anthony M. Mabasa is Senior Vice President of First Philippine Holdings Corporation, President of First Philippine Industrial Corporation (FPIC) and ThermaPrime Drilling Corporation and a Director of First Balfour, Inc. He was President of Tollways Management Corporation (2003—2008), President of FPIC (2000-2003), Executive Vice President of First Balfour (1998-1999) and President & Chief Operating Officer of ECCO-Asia (1994-1999). He has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree, Major in Management of Financial Institutions, from the De La Salle University. He pursued his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of the Philippines.

    Ms. Emelita Sabella is Vice President for Finance and Treasury of First Philippine Holdings Corporation (FPH) as well as Treasurer/Assistant Treasurer of other FPH subsidiaries. She holds an EMBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    Mr. Wilfredo Capil has 31 years of experience in services activities for geothermal well drilling and management, materials and supply management and contract management for third party services. He has been the Company’s single point of contact for the Lihir Geothermal Drilling Project serving as the company’s drilling contract negotiator from 2006-2010. He is a registered Mechanical Engineer and obtained his bachelor’s degree at Mapua Institute of Technology in 1980. He also completed his Management Development Program at Asian Institute of Management in 2000.

    Mr. Anthony Beckett has more than 40 years of experience in oil services and drilling, in various roles, and in different locations.  He earned his spurs in drilling in Amoco Production Company in the 1980s and subsequently worked around the world for prominent companies like British Gas, Transocean and Baker Hughes.  He was engaged by EDC in 2008 to do a study of drilling operations and present recommendations for restructuring and performance improvement. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Australian Naval College, a MS and  a doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering from Tulsa University.

    Mr. Romerico Gonzalez has over 30 years of experience in geothermal exploitation and resource management, geothermal resource assessment studies, geothermal development strategy formation, well drilling design and geological logging. He obtained his BS Geology degree from the School of Mining, Geology and Metallurgy of Mapúa Institute of Technology (1980). He also has a diploma in Geothermal Energy Technology from the College of Engineering, University of Auckland, New Zealand (1985).

    Mr. Dean Coventry has 30 years of management experience in the oil & gas industry and has worked in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Turkmenistan where he assumed mostly Procurement and Logistics leadership roles. Mr. Coventry has been Country Manager of Parker Drilling for 4 years in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

    Ronald B. Tablante
    Head of Business Development

    Mr. Ronald Tablante is Assistant Vice President for Finance and Business Development of both First Gen Corporation and Thermaprime Drilling Corporation. Mr. Tablante has extensive experience in corporate finance and in acquisitions involving geothermal energy. Prior to joining the Lopez Group in 2001, Mr. Tablante worked for various banking institutions including Chase Manhattan Bank and ING Bank. Mr. Tablante graduated with a BS degree in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University (1989).
